Night 1 of WrestleMania is in the books and what an emotional and great night it was. From Vince McMahon welcoming back the WWE Universe to Bianca Belair’s crowning as Smackdown’s Women’s Champion, the night was a success.
Night 2 has a tough act to follow, but the main event could easily put them over the edge. PUNS! The head of the table, Roman Reigns, will defend his Universal Championship against the leader of the Yes Movement, Daniel Bryan, and the Men’s Royal Rumble winner, Edge. Had Bryan not been added last minute to the match, Edge would have been heavily favorited, but with his addition it really becomes a 50/50.
Although Night 1 didn’t have any surprise returns, Night 2 might bring back a familiar face to a huge pop! I’m not sure if it’s because it’s WrestleMania, or because it’s the first-time seeing fans back for live wrestling, but I’m extremely excited for Night 2 and this sense of normalcy feels glorious!
