I’m the first to admit when I’m wrong, and I did not see coming what happened at SummerSlam. WWE put on a good show, with an even better shocking return of Roman Reigns. Combine that with his surprising new manager, Paul Heyman, and they’ve knocked it out of the park with this one. I wasn’t too sure why we were going to have another pay per view a week later, but with this new duo I can’t blame WWE for wanting to capitalize on a heel Reigns with Heyman at his side.
However, Payback will be more than just Reigns, and hopefully won’t overshadow the rest of the card. This PPV will highlight some of the superstars that could easily be main event players. Big E, Matt Riddle, and Keith Lee all have singles matches. This is their time to shine and grab that illustrious brass ring.
