Hey all – Steve here. SUPER Wild Card Weekend was mostly what we expected it to be. If you missed any of them, here is how it went:
Great games
Bills 27 Colts 24
Good games
Bucs 31 Washinton 23
Ravens 20 Titans 13
Meh/Duds
Rams 30 Seahawks 20
Saints 21 Bears 9
Bullshit games
Browns 48 Steelers 37
Yes, I said what I said. Nice going Steelers. Not only did you allow the madness that is Baker Mayfield and the Browns to continue on, but you cost a lot of people a lot of money. The two teams that were exposed those most over the course of the season are now gone (Bears, Steelers). The Seahawks became just another team in the second half of the season and all the talk of Russell Wilson being the MVP has now disappeared. The Titans learned that defense is really what helps you win in the playoffs. The Bucs allowed Washington to hang around for the entire game, but will now face an even better all-around defense and a true offense that doesn’t have to “piece it together”. Hey, the Giants could have beaten the Bucs. I said it.
Before this gets awkward, let’s get to it – first we get to last weeks results, then overall standings, and then our picks for the Divisional Round! Sit back and enjoy!
