“Gutsy,” the highly anticipated eight-part documentary event following Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton as they celebrate the gutsy women who inspire them — including Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Dr. Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson and many more — premieres this Friday on Apple TV+.
Plus, the third season of Apple’s multi-Emmy and NAACP Image Award-nominated musical series, “Central Park,” premieres this Friday with the first three episodes.
Last weekend at the 74th Annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Apple TV+ earned five Emmy Awards, including the history-making fifth straight Emmy for “Carpool Karaoke: The Series” in the Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series category, as well as two Emmy Awards for 14x Emmy-nominated “Severance” for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series and Outstanding Main Title Design; and, “Schmigadoon!” landed its first Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
Gutsy – global premiere
A highly anticipated eight-part documentary event following Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton as they celebrate the gutsy women who inspire them. Based on the Clintons’ acclaimed New York Times bestselling book, “The Book of Gutsy Women,” the docuseries features Hillary and Chelsea as they embark on a thought-provoking journey to speak with pioneering women artists, activists, community leaders and everyday heroes who show us what it truly means to be gutsy. The series shows Hillary and Chelsea as you’ve never seen them before, revealing their special mother-daughter bond and the unique, multi-generational way they approach the important and timely issues highlighted in each episode.
Joining the Clintons are some of their personal heroes, extraordinary, courageous and resilient women who have made an impact in their community and on the world, including Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Dr. Jane Goodall, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson and many more.
All eight parts of “Gutsy” will premiere on Friday, September 9 on Apple TV+.
Central Park – Season three premiere
Apple’s NAACP Image and Emmy Award-nominated, original animated musical comedy from creator, writer and executive producer Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith stars a renowned voice cast that includes Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess and Stanley Tucci. New guest stars featured in the second season include Aparna Nancherla, Billy Porter, Catherine O’Hara, Ellie Kemper and Naomi Ekperigin.
In the third season of “Central Park,” as Bitsy continues her relentless pursuit to buy the park, Owen embarks on a new promotional campaign to make more people fall in love with it, and Paige finds herself busier than ever when she lands her first book deal.
Season three of “Central Park” premieres Friday, September 9 with the first three episodes.
Bad Sisters – new episode
The newest comedy from creator and star Sharon Horgan, “Bad Sisters” is a delicious blend of both dark comedy and thriller set in the breathtaking coast of Ireland. The new 10-episode series follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another. In addition to Horgan, “Bad Sisters” stars Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson as the Garvey sisters. The ensemble cast also includes Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab and newcomer Saise Quinn.
“Bad Sisters” is executive produced and written by Horgan with Brett Baer and Dave Finkel, who adapted it from the Belgian version of the series “Clan,” which was created by Malin-Sarah Gozin. Horgan, Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford executive produce for Merman; and Gozin, Bert Hamelinck and Michael Sagol executive produce for Caviar. In addition to Horgan, Baer and Finkel, the series is written by Karen Cogan, Ailbhe Keogan, Daniel Cullen, Perrie Balthazar and Paul Howard. Dearbhla Walsh, Josephine Bornebusch and Rebecca Gatward serve as directors with Walsh also acting as executive producer. The series will mark Horgan’s first project to premiere from her first-look deal with Apple TV+. It is produced by Merman, her production company that she co-founded with Mountford.

The fifth episode of “Bad Sisters” premieres this Friday, September 9 on Apple TV+.
“See” season 3 – new episode
“See” is set in a brutal and primitive future, hundreds of years after humankind has lost the ability to see. In season three, almost a year has passed since Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) defeated his nemesis brother Edo and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest. But when a Trivantian scientist develops a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya in order to protect his tribe once more.
The series features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision and has been honoured for its representation of the visually impaired, winning the Ruderman Family Foundation Seal of Authentic Representation in 2020. “See” was also recognised this year with an NAACP Image Awards nomination for star Alfre Woodard in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.
Starring alongside Momoa in the third season of “See” are ensemble cast members Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, Tom Mison, Olivia Cheng, Eden Epstein, Michael Raymond-James, David Hewlett and Trieste Kelly Dunn.

Five Days at Memorial – new episode
Based on actual events and adapted from the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Sheri Fink, “Five Days at Memorial” is an eight-episode limited series that chronicles the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath on a local hospital. When the floodwaters rose, power failed and heat soared, exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital were forced to make decisions that would follow them for years to come.
“Five Days at Memorial” is executive produced and written by Carlton Cuse and John Ridley. The series is directed by Cuse, Ridley and Wendey Stanzler, and stars Vera Farmiga, Robert Pine, Cherry Jones, Julie Ann Emery, Cornelius Smith Jr., Adepero Oduye, Molly Hager, Michael Gaston and W. Earl Brown.
In this week’s new episode, “Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen,” new evidence comes to light as Schafer and Rider dig deeper into their investigation of deaths at Memorial.
