Set in sun-baked L.A., this one follows Chris Hemsworth as a jewel thief who keeps making the cops look foolish, Halle Berry as an insurance broker who’s clearly done with everyone’s nonsense, and Mark Ruffalo as the detective who’s convinced he finally cracked the code. It’s slick, tense, and built around the kind of bad decisions that snowball fast, which should feel very familiar in a city where subtlety goes to die and confidence shows up before logic. The line between hunter and hunted gets real blurry, nobody gets a clean exit, and by the end you’re just hoping everyone picked the right hill to die on.
