Hey, it’s Farace… before Rocky became one of the most iconic underdog stories ever made, Sylvester Stallone had to convince Hollywood that the guy who wrote Rocky Balboa should actually be the guy playing him.
I Play Rocky tells the true story of Stallone refusing to take no for an answer, betting everything on himself, and holding the line when basically everybody with a desk and a business card thought he was nuts.
West Palm Beach gets free advance screening passes to see I Play Rocky before it opens in theaters.
And West Palm, congratulations. For once the biggest underdog story in town isn’t somebody trying to merge onto I-95 before the lane disappears.
You’ve got palm trees, retirees, golf courses, and enough Range Rovers circling parking lots to make finding a movie seat feel like the easy part.
