Hey, it’s Farace… Johnny Depp is Ebenezer Scrooge, Ti West is behind the camera, and Ebenezer is taking one of the most famous Christmas ghost stories ever told and dragging it somewhere darker.
On Christmas Eve, Scrooge collides with his past, present, and future on a supernatural journey that will decide his fate.
Miami, Orlando, and Tampa get free advance screening passes to see Ebenezer before it opens in theaters.
South Florida should understand Scrooge perfectly. Spend 20 minutes on I-95 and suddenly “Bah, humbug” feels less like a catchphrase and more like a reasonable response to society.
Orlando, enjoy one evening where the supernatural visitors aren’t tourists asking which line gets them to Harry Potter.
And Tampa, between the humidity, traffic, and people still explaining that Tampa and Tampa Bay aren’t technically the same thing, three ghosts might actually be the least exhausting part of your night.
