Gia Doxey is a Florida girl living the dream in New York City. She’s a journalism graduate from the University of Central Florida with a passion for film, theatre, comedy and giving credit where credit is due.
She and PCP friend Daveed Ben-Arie currently co-host and produce Silhouettes JB Podcast — the deepest dive into Jersey Boys one can take, both the Tony Award-winning Broadway show and the Warner Bros movie directed by Clint Eastwood. She’s using her degree and landing dream interviews with Broadway legends and Hollywood stars.
She also co-hosts She F***ing Did That podcast with PCP friend Layla Bryndzia where they talk about the badass women we never learned about in history class. Always raise a glass to hardworking women!
Gia values long-form discussions and dissection of art because it’s art and dialogue that showed her the woman she wants to become.
In the past two years, she’s interned at Refinery29, performed in the Old School Sketch Comedy Show at the PIT in Manhattan, acted in Black Box New Play Festival in Brooklyn, choreographed a dance for a short film “Biff & Me” and technical directed Broadway’s Elizabeth Welch’s cabaret in Green Room 42.
