Alrighty, people – Steve here. I tried something new there. Did it work out for you? or for me? Let me know. Let’s get to some entertainment value for all of you out there with Amazon Prime!

New on Prime Video September 1st

(500) Days Of Summer (2009) – This is not a movie to be watched after you’ve gone through a breakup. It’s a real pain in the ass. If not, it’s a great flick. Expectations vs Reality. That’s it – that’s the thing. Watch it if you haven’t and if you haven’t recently had an awful breakup. You’ve been warned.

21 Grams (2003) – You know I haven’t seen this one in forever. I honestly can’t tell you when the last time I saw it. I think that means it might be time to revisit it.

American Me (1992)

Apollo 13 (1995) – Tom Hanks cranks out greatness. We all know this. The rest of the cast including Bill Paxton and Kevin Bacon help make this a great flick.

Arachnophobia (1990)

Armageddon (1998) – Really like this one. I know that it was critically trashed, but I enjoyed it and can really pick it up from whatever point it’s at.

As Good As It Gets (1997)

Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011)

Can’t Hardly Wait (1998) – I likely haven’t seen this one in 20 years. I couldn’t tell ya what I thought of it. Would you really make me watch it at age 40?

Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant (2009)

Closer (2004)

Daddy Day Care (2003) – Absolutely not.

Daredevil (2003) – Awful.

Daredevil (Director’s Cut) (2003) – Cashgrab on said awful flick.

Death At A Funeral (2010)

Do The Right Thing (1989) – When this one is on, you watch. Spike Lee Joint. Not much more to say.

Grown Ups (2010) – Nope. Nope. Nope.

Heist (2001)

I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006) – Seriously?

I Am Bolt (2016)

I Am Duran (2019)]

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) – I don’t care what people say, this shit was intense! It was cheesy – so what. Many thriller/horror flicks are.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998) – I don’t think I remember a thing about this one – LOL. I am absolutely watching this one soon.

Jennifer’s Body (2009) – Not in a million years would I have guessed that this one was at 45% on Rotten Tomatoes. Maybe the 4 or the 5 in a single-digit manner, but no. This is wrong on many levels – do not watch this one if you value your time.

Nacho Libre (2006) – Trash.

Open Range (2003) – Not a fan of westerns, but I’m a fan of Robert Duvall so I powered through it and enjoyed it as much as I could enjoy a western.

Planet Of The Apes (2001) – Just a fail. Best way to put it.

Predators (2010) – I’m not even commenting.

Romeo + Juliet (1996) – Never seen it and have no desire to see it.

Rudy (1993) – Ultimate underdog story. Is this still appealing these days?

Sicko (2007)

Sleepless In Seattle (1993) – Remember what I said about Tom Hanks?

Soul Food (1997) – Warning – do not watch while hungry. Seriously. Great flick, but fill that stomach first!

Stuart Little (1999)

Stuart Little 2 (2002)

The Alamo (2004)

The A-Team (2010) – This one is so so for me – a fun watch on a rainy day.

The A-Team (Extended Cut) (2010)

The Best Man (1999)

The Boy (2016)

The Descent (2006) – Really good thriller/horror flick. Love that they are loading up on these genres this month.

The Host (English Subtitled) (2006)

The Karate Kid (2010)

The Kids Are All Right (2010)

The Last Of The Mohicans (1992)

The Omen (2006)

The Social Network (2010) – The best of the decade. Fact.

The Unborn (2009)

The Unborn (Unrated) (2009)

Traffic (2000) – Insanely good. Watch it soon if you’ve got the time. Michael Douglas, Cheadle, Benicio, Zeta-Jones. Watch it.

Year One (2009) – Awful.
