Welcome to Week 8 of the NFL season! Last week, Farace and Ed set the bar high with stellar 13-2 records, proving they know their football—at least for now. Tim and Anthony weren’t far behind at 12-3, while Dave and Bruce held the fort at 10-5. Overall, we finished the week at 70-20, with a 65.42% success rate. Not too shabby, though Dave’s 10-5 might need a little extra effort if he wants to keep pace with the leaders!
Looking at the season standings, Farace now sits atop the leaderboard at 70-37, maintaining an impressive 77.8% win rate. Tim, Dave, and Ed are all tied at 68-39, keeping the competition tight. Anthony and Bruce are still in the hunt, but they’ll need to start swinging for the fences to close the gap. As a group, we’re sitting at 402-240, holding a 62.6% accuracy for the season. Solid, but there’s always room to improve… or in Bruce’s case, maybe just hope.
Week 8 kicks off with the Rams already taking down the Vikings 30-20 on Thursday night. The rest of our picks include a few bold locks from the Unsportsmanlike Conduct crew: the Ravens, Packers, Lions, and Steelers are all getting unanimous love. Tim’s rolling the dice on the Cowboys against the 49ers, while Ed is sticking with the Jets, which might require more hope than strategy. Let’s see if these picks can deliver, or if we’ll be left scratching our heads again come Monday!
