Week 18: The Final Countdown
What’s up, everyone? It’s Farace here, welcoming you to the final week of the NFL regular season—Week 18! Last week, I had a hell of a run, going 15-1 and reminding everyone why I’m at the top of the standings. Dave and Ed both put up strong 13-3 records, while Tim, Anthony, and Bruce all finished 12-4. As a group, we crushed it with a 77-19 record, good for an 80.21% win rate. Not bad, but we all know there’s no such thing as perfect—except for me last week (basically).
Now, let’s talk standings. I’m still holding down the top spot at 185-71, but Ed is annoyingly close behind at 182-74. Tim (175-71) and Anthony (172-74) are hanging around, with Bruce (170-86) and Dave (167-89) bringing up the rear. With Week 18’s unpredictability (thanks, teams that rest players), anything can happen. But let’s be real, it’s probably not enough for anyone to catch me.
This week, we’ve already seen the Ravens dismantle the Browns and the Bengals squeak past the Steelers on Saturday. As for locks, I was all in on the Ravens, Tim’s rolling with the Eagles, Dave is putting his faith in the Falcons, and Anthony is backing the Dolphins. The AFC playoff picture is wild—Broncos, Dolphins, or Bengals, who takes the final spot? No matter what happens, this is just the beginning. Our picks continue through the playoffs and all the way to the Super Bowl. Let’s end the regular season on a high note!
